Jawahir Press publishes books for independent authors under their Independent Islamic Press imprint.
Our service is available to anybody who wishes to publish an Islamic book, as long as it does not contradict Islam or the laws of the land.
We will provide you with an individual ISBN for each publication, register your book with the ISBN authority, and deposit a copy of your book at the British Library for a reasonable fee.
Independent Publishing
If you are going to publish a book, it is good practice to acquire an ISBN (International Standard Book Number). There are two options:
1. You can order ISBNs from the UK ISBN Agency. The cost is £99.00 for a single ISBN number (or £149.00 for 10 numbers).
2. We publish books for individual authors, providing ISBNs and related support, for a reasonable fee (typically £15-30 for each publication depending on the services required*).

The process
Email us with your publishing request, sending brief details of your book.
If your book meets our criteria, we will email you back requesting further details.
We will assign your book a provisional ISBN number.
After you send your payment, we will register your title with the ISBN authority under our Independent Islamic Press imprint.
As soon as your book is in print, you must post us a copy that we may send to the Legal Deposit Office at the British Library.
The only difference from self-publishing (in addition to the cheap price) is that the publisher on official records will be listed as Independent Islamic Press; the 'Jawahir Press' name will not feature anywhere in your publications.
